a little about me
I've always been unable to resist the urge to pick up a camera and take a picture, even as a child though they mostly consisted of my feet or the sky, cutting off peoples heads and being completely out of focus. I then spent years using bad digital cameras, during my GCSEs my teacher gifted me an old Olympus OM1 which I still have and use to this day, It was missing screws and needed a clean up but I loved it. I spent the next few years using a Nikon D3200 and learning to shoot with digital SLR, finding a Nikon F4 35mm film camera to add to my collection. In recent years I have upgraded to a Nikon Z6ii this is the best camera I have ever owned and I absolutely love it and feel privileged to own such a camera.
Growing up on a small island between England and France I never experienced large cities, sprawling hills or crowds of people I think this is why I am now drawn to them.
I have lots of learning to do but am glad your here to share in my experience.
